It didn’t change everything. The Webb telescope is mostly looking way, way deeper into the Universe and it’s changing how we think about stuff out there, but what we know of our Solar System is still basically the same.
It’s the difference between Astronomy where we know a shitload of stuff about the local neighborhood, and Cosmology where we try to figure out the Big Picture stuff, like how this all happened; the timeline for how we got here and where it’s all going.
Two different realms, basically. Local Astronomy is pretty well locked down for the Solar system and our stellar neighborhood. Cosmology is constantly in flux because we don’t have the data or tools (yet) to make firm statements about the Big Picture.
Fascism 101, once the leader issued what the “truth” was, can’t have counter-narratives complicating things.

AP confirms Harris has now secured more than enough delegates to be the nominee.
Several state delegations met late Monday to confirm their support for Harris, including Texas and her home state of California. By Monday night, Harris had the support of at least 2,579 delegates, according to the AP tally of delegates, more than the 1,976 delegates she’ll need to win on a first ballot. No other candidate was named by a delegate contacted by the AP.
