Ye olde, “Why didn’t she call the police at the time, report the crime sooner, etc.” is alive and well based on what I’ve seen in various comments around the block. That and, “…but the timing…” Clearly women are a devious, corrupt, dishonest, greedy, vengeful lot. (Who happen to experience rape, mysogyny, and abuse more than we will ever know.)

And let’s not forget that she allegedly texted him immediately afterward, but just conveniently happened to delete all the evidence so she could “move on.” But I think my favorite part of this bullshit is the part where she is all torn up about coming forward because she agrees with his politics, but not him. Oh heavens, I can hear the violins now. So she watches this guy she claimed raped her, was interviewed for the first round of hit piece bullshit and still didn’t come forward. But, but, but now she “had to.” Really? What changed all of a sudden? Maybe a nice fat check from AIPAC? Fuck this bullshit. Democrats are losers who make me sick.
Imagine that you are on a youth baseball team … one of your star pitchers hits a batter & gets tossed from the game… and league rules require that pitcher to sit out the next game …
But overbearing obnoxious bloated “Team Uncle” makes a phone call… throws his weight around … and surprise! A special ruling is made “suspending” the required sit out …
“Team Uncle” struts about like he’s some sort of mob boss..

My daughter’s other sport in hs was, for a while, softball. 
She played one hs season of lacrosse (spring of her senior year), organized by the local college coach of the sport. Most of the team was the fall soccer team, and it was so amusing to watch them try to overcome their inclination to stop, when the ball was passed/thrown, in order to avoid being offsides. Amusing and instructive. Watching them play lacrosse, I appreciated for the first time how deeply soccer players feel the offsides rules, how ingrained they become in their bodies.
