“Untrustworthy and just plain mean” is on-brand in MAGA World. Prez T. would probably have liked to keep Musk longer and had time to suck more money out of him. But when in doubt, do it to them before they do it to you.
People who don’t understand that they entirely belong to T., that his wish is their command and that it is an honor to be his tool, do not last long in Trump World.

It’s the possession of a mob boss. In T’s case, it may not be life and death as in organized crime, but it’s power to destroy one – almost physically with some manufactured criminal charge or deportation to our own little gulag. Speaking of which, did you note how quickly his lieutenants established that gulag?
