The Biggest Mystery Of January 6 Remains Unsolved

Because the suspect appears to have known that the militias were planning to unleash the normies to assault the Capitol – most of the crowd just thought they were going to the Capitol to protest and listen to more speeches. The bombs were pretty obviously intended to distract law enforcement from that assault.

I think you are being very, very charitable. As is the investigation directed by Merrick Garland, despite what he said when he was tasked with the question early on.

Garland does not direct investigations. He has the FBI for that.

The PB’s seem to be the only ones with a pre-existing plan to incite the crowd to get violent

Good thing they were asked to stand down and stand by. Otherwise it might have been wild.

Yes…that last surmise makes a lot of sense to me, in light of what we now know about the planning of the insurrection. Pipe bombs explode, national guard called in, Congress cancelled and voila - Trumpy declares martial law and becomes tinpot dictator for life, with congressional allies passing reichstag laws allowing the arrest of anyone on his enemies list - JUST like he wants to do now.

I’d love for those theories about it being MTG (based on the walk and the shoes) to be true.

Seriously, the OKC bomber made News of the Weird several years earlier because he insisted the military had inserted a microchip in his butt when they gave him vaccine shots.

That fear was still kicking around with the “microchips in Covid vaccines” conspiracy, too.
