The Absurdity At The Heart Of Trump’s Historic Criminal Trial

That’s my Governor. Gotta love her. She tells it like it is.

…Trump Straddling

Isn’t this one of the things he’s going to court over, this week?

More absurdity. Tfg complains that the Biden crime family and the DA didn’t bring this case up earlier than an election year.

Trump issued a series of other posts on Saturday seeking to undermine the credibility of the trial by attacking Bragg, a Democrat, and Merchan.

“WHY DIDN’T THE MANHATTAN DA BRING THIS RIDICULOUS & LAMBASTED CASE SEVEN YEARS AGO? Because they are corrupt and wanted to use it for purposes of Election Interference against Crooked Joe Biden’s Political Opponent!” he posted.

Yet, we have been getting all of these absurd attempts to delay or end the trial.

TPM’s Josh Kovensky got in line at the courthouse in Manhattan at 6 a.m. ET, and it turns out that wasn’t early enough. He was just denied entry because there’s no more space for reporters. Dozens of other reporters were similarly turned away.

Didn’t apply Black Friday rules for this deal of the century - you need to camp on the sidewalk the night before!

But someone should answer this question, “How low will it have to go in the next 5 months to make Donalds share worth less than the settlements?” Until that happens it’s still just a legal means to launder money into Trump Inc.

I know good and well it’s in Trump’s hands, and he’s got plans. I have no doubt it’s going to explode sometime. — Jerry Dean McLain, 71

Someone needs to learn the difference between explode and implode.

Welker made a fool of herself trying to turn Abortion into another standard horse race issue and Whitmer wasn’t having any of it. Good for Governor Whitmer.

I’m excited to learn from Governor Sununu that criminal prosecutions are now just “politics.” The prion disease has really taken root in the GQP. Vote them all out…

Is it even possible that Kristen Welker is even worse as a functional journalist than Chuck Todd???

Within 5 minutes, Trump’s voters will switch from “It’s Biden’s DOJ ‘lawfare’ stitching Trump up” to “We know he did it, but we don’t care,” and back again.

Below $30. Watch out below! Further dilution and plummet upcoming when another 40 million shares are shovelled to insiders.
I’m shocked there are no shareholder lawsuits yet, maybe the plaintiffs bar are waiting a bit on their yachts before filing.

In its reporting of its own poll results the NYT said that Trump had a 1% “edge” over Biden, 46-45. However, the poll sample was 1,039 voters. Such a poll has a 3% margin of error. No reputable polling organization would report that results as an “edge” since it was well within the margin of error. A 1% difference would be labelled statistically insignificant. These poll results should have been reported as “Trump and Biden in a Virtual Tie”.

Last month’s NYT poll showed Trump with a 4% lead over Biden, again a poll with a 3% MOE. Over the weekend the NYT said last month’s Trump 4% lead was “robust”. It was actually just outside the MOE, and again no knowledge person would call that a “robust”, statistically significant yes. A robust lead, in my experience, would be twice the MOE. In scientific data analyses, a two-sigma difference is never called robust.

First time for a criminal in the White House? Not really.

But fully understand that is hard to say because all GOP politicians are Nixon now.
