The story says Dems would win 12 seats with 2018-style blue wave turnout, but I would like to point out that Texas will have had eight additional years of inexorable population growth and demographic change by next November. And that means the wave will likely be substantially bigger.
It never rains but that it pours.
Dang… so that’s where I went wrong…
That saying meant the salt wasn’t sticky and would pour out of the container on a humid day.
The thing is Rush is buried in Bellefontaine Cemetery, and yet he was born and raised Cape Girardeau, MO. Cape is 115 miles south of St Louis. Bellefontaine Cemetery is where the notable St Louisans are buried. People like William Clark, Adolphus Busch, Eberhard Anheuser, and Thomas Hart Benton to name a few.
I was there with my sister who has been doing some family genealogy research. And as we were driving around the cemetery there was Rush, off by himself. Still don’t understand why wasn’t buried with his family in Cape Girardeau.

I’d hope this wouldn’t even be suitable as a controversy du jour:

New York was shot down by their own state courts in '22 I think, for their attempted gerrymander.
Other states, Alabama (?) just straight up ignored court ruling and so went with their shit assed gerrymanders to actually have elections.
Rules are for suckers.
That might have been when Morton added CaSiO3 as an anti-clumping agent.
Your optimism is endearing.
Ah! The infamous Ritz Carlton Moscow golden shower rumors were true after all! Except it was Trump pissing on Trump all along.
They’ve got some explaining to do.
…Republican scandal. What is Trump hiding?
We know what he’s hiding. The question is, at what point does the dam break, or will it?
Excellent points and questions. ![]()
I’m glad to see us (at least talking about) fighting fire with fire and engaging in redistricting of our own where we can.
…one-sided disarmament that Democrats are now backing away from.
I recently posted a comment I’m fairly pleased with that may be helpful. ![]()
