Not according to the disciples of Ayn AS IN MINE Rand who now run the Cult Of The Fetus Republican Party!

To them it’s All About The Fetus but once the baby is born it’s YOYO Time–You’re On Your Own and it’s time for the white mother to get pregnant again to have another baby.

It appears that the only reason the GQP was torqued off by the Obamacare ā€œdeath panelsā€ was because they didn’t get to create them first. Now, they get to have open season on post-birth babies, mothers, children in classrooms, elderly and other POC. I’m guessing that the whole thing is giving them tingles down their legs.

Yeah. Republicans just love feeding the Tree Of Liberty with fresh blood.

Ukraine’s kids and adoption: Will an ugly history repeat itself?

Last week, a startling but seemingly familiar story emerged on the periphery of the Ukraine war: A former Washington state representative named Matt Shea, long associated with the far right, turned up in a hotel in a small Polish town with 63 Ukrainian children he apparently hoped to bring to the U.S. for adoption. For those who have followed both Shea’s career and the recent history of evangelical Christian adoption advocacy, this was cause for alarm.

They could really turn this into a cute little song to sing together …

"The cruelty is the point
The cruelty is the point
When you can’t figure out the reason for our policy
The cruelty is the point

The cruelty is the point
The cruelty is the point
Even when our actions seem to have a valid reason
The cruelty is the point

If you think we care about ā€˜the people’
Or about the USA
Then, my friend, you are grossly mistaken
Power is the only thing we crave

The cruelty is the point
…"

So, Texas claims to have increased benefits to a program that Texas continues to restrict access to. Which means, few, if any, benefits are paid. Got it.

It’s all about power, always has been. It’s all about controlling women, and also about controlling men who are not among the ā€œelect.ā€ Always has been.

I think those eyes are clearly a window to the soul you describe.
Scary, cult member eyes.

Beto is outraising Abbott. Greg’s under 50% in all the polls, and Beto is only 5 points back (and rising). Fat Donnie Two Impeachments isn’t on the ballot. This thing is doable.

I can’t get over how the term ā€œHealthy Texas Womenā€ is about as paternalistic and male dominationist as one can get, other than Ducks Unlimited or Pheasants Forever. Since the inception of HTW, coupled with the defunding of Planned Parenthood, both unintended pregnancies and abortions have risen in Texas.

There was a time when the over 65 crowd was one of the GOP’s most reliable voting blocks.

This is a seismic shift. This thing might well be doable.

Doable, at least if we discount the disarray my party is constantly in.

This is a man of such hatred and filth that lying just is his normal response to everything. He is a full on sociopath whose main hatred is focused on women who have the nerve to want to live.

There are a lot of people out there that should know better that spout this nonsense. We know a couple of retired teachers that swore up and down they were not on Medicare after they retired. SMH
