According to Trump, that means that there were 781,110 harmless cases that day!
Yay!

It was early enough in the tat phase it just seemed utterly bizarre to me.

Wouldn’t it be over 3 million? US population in 2019 was 328 million.
Or are you just thinking adults?

Not trying to sharpshoot your statement, just wondering what your basis is. I have been seeing that “99%” stuff for a few weeks now and it makes my blood boil.

Yeah, strange conflict in the wording, isn’t it? But he canceled it. Should never have thought he could go forward with it after the past few months.

One might assume his wife and children. Sadly, they’re all on the take, too. It’s like the story of the man who thought he was a chicken.

An oasis of semi-liberalism in Texas. Of course it’s complicated.

I don’t know that story.

I’m extrapolating here, but I gather nobody told the man that he wasn’t a chicken for the reason you suggest.

When you have some of the lowest testing per case numbers and the most cases of any reporting nation in the world I suppose you can say anything you damned well please but that’s not going to make your shit-poor leadership look any better.

I think I pulled up a memory from the Johnny Carson show to make the connection.

An American military commander who got as many of his troops killed or wounded per diem as there are daily deaths and hospitalizations from Covid-19 would be relieved of his command and, almost certainly, subject to a Congressional inquiry.
I can’t see a reason not to apply the same standard to this “Commander in Chief.”

Doesn’t the 25th require the Cabinet to drive such a removal? If that’s so, look at his Cabinet Secretaries. Do you see anyone who would participate in such a removal. They have their jobs because of absolute fealty to Trump. They’ll never support a 25th action. They’re as bad as he is. Also, if any of them are unconfirmed Acting Secretaries, can they take part in a 25th removal?
