Clearly the Democrats really need to clean their clocks in Nov, be prepared for anything until they get sworn in in January, and I mean anything.
Governors better be ready to mobilize their National Guard units and get them ready to intervene when Trump and his brain goons try to activate their coup, which would be an assault on the Constitution and our Union and would require the States to defend the Republic against illegal domestic enemies.
We can’t incremental our way out of this insanity and greed and sheer stupidity, but we gotta start with that at the least.

Maybe that’s the problem. One of the few still-working parts of the patient’s brain is the “bad landlord” part, and if he thinks these are tenants instead of tenets, his natural inclination might be to evict them.

“Impeach [insert name of justice]!” has been the “let’s expend energy on angry futility!” sinkhole of anger politics in this country since John Marshall. But if we had a supermajority wave in 2028, I would absolutely be in favor of impeaching as many of the six as I could get 67 votes to remove and tell the GOP the motherfuckers had it coming, they’re free to do the same anytime the People give them the votes to do it.
I mean, whether it’s going after Thomas, Alito and/or Kavanaugh for the open billionaire bribing, partying, corruption and lying about it or openly going after the intellectual and moral corruption and rot of the mass of mocking hypocrisy they call “Originalism,” IDGAF. The politics will be the same.

The only thing that may save us is their inability to reduce their ideas to a plan of action that isn’t just arm-waving, asterisks and rake-walks.
My greatest fear has been that somewhere someone with the basic managerial competence of a county manager will emerge out of the chaos and stupidity like Albert Speer and really get the fascism rolling.

Totally agree! I think the mistake after Trump I is that too many people thought that if you just placed their heroin on the highest shelf in the cupboard, the MAGA folks would just go back to being normal citizens.
It turns out that they found the heroin again! And after they sold everything in the cupboard to pay for more, they ripped down the cupboard and set fire to it, and now the house is on fire.

American voters have had just about enough of this in-your-face corrupt Roberts court as they can stomach, and every time Republicans scaremonger that Dems are gonna muck those shitty stables, another Dem voter gets its wings.
This court is already “packed”; time to unpack it.
