Superspreader-In-Chief: Officials Now Forced To Clean Up Trump’s COVID Mess | Talking Points Memo

On the plus side he’ll be assured of a bed and three squares a day in the federal penitentiary he’s headed straight for.

The fucker went to his campaign rally yesterday after he knew Hicks was positive and showing symptoms. He deliberately put others at risk. What a fucking prick. If this doesn’t shake up some of his supporters, they are far worse than him.

Especially when it’s not at all clear what will happen if Trump dies before the election. I’ve been reading what I can find about that today, and it looks like it could be as messy as everything else Trump has gotten the country into.

Just two days after the debate, Hope Hicks, a senior aide in Trump’s inner circle, tested positive for coronavirus, which should have rung alarm bells for Trump and his team. But even with knowledge of Hicks’ illness and the infectious nature of the disease, Trump and his staffers carried on with a trip to a fundraiser at the President’s Bedminster golf club, where Trump has since potentially risked the exposure of roughly 100 attendees, many of them GOP donors.

I wonder if the donors were there, when smeg declared a previous impromptu rally to be a peaceful protest.

Well that boggles the mind.

Those who attended the fund raiser may be freaking out but they deserve whatever happens to them. Hope every fucking one of them comes down with Covid 19 and their families too.

Its like the boy who cried wolf in reverse.

I wish that were true, but bet he never has to step foot into a prison. Living on the outside might be a humiliating experience as no one will have any interest in this huge bankrupted failure.

Trump has not tweeted in over 13hrs.

Either he is very sick or they took his phone away.

These are the consequences of their venality: had they upheld their oaths of office during the impeachment and removed Donnie from office, he would not have grossly mishandled the threat from the virus and we might not be at this pass.
This, of course, raises the question of whether or not Pence would have done better; but, it’s hard to see how he could have done worse if he hadn’t gone with “Pray away the Jina-virus!” in massive acts of collective, indoor worship.

He’ll never step foot in a prison because it’s incompatible with the 24/7 Secret Service protection he gets for life, courtesy of the Former Presidents Act. But he could serve time under house arrest. And not at Mar a Lago. A trailer somewhere with no Internet will do.

Bill Stepien, who was aboard Air Force One with both Trump and Hicks on Tuesday and did not wear a mask himself, fired off a memo to wash the campaign’s hands of responsibility — in it he urged staffers to wear masks which he claimed was among “practices the campaign has long encouraged.”

What an asshole. But we knew that since bridgegate. People living in New Jersey knew it before that.

Republicans. The Party of Death. In a few years, GOP will be synonymous with Gravestones Of the Pandemic.
