Steve Jobs’ Widow Launches DREAM Act Documentary Site | Talking Points Memo

Laurene Powell Jobs, the widow of late Apple founder Steve Jobs, has partnered with documentary director Davis Guggenheim (“Waiting For Superman,” “An Inconvenient Truth”) to launch a new website this week dedicated to advancing the DREAM Act and immigration reform. Called “The Dream Is Now,” the site, which is managed by Powell’s charitable organization Emerson Collective, is the home of an interactive documentary made up of footage of some of the estimated 2 million undocumented young immigrants who have grown up in America, as well as tweets and links to news about the DREAM Act.
