St. Louis Health Dept Issues Warning After People Flock To Lake Of The Ozarks

The St. Louis County Department of Public Health in Missouri issued a travel advisory on Monday at St. Louis County Executive Dr. Sam Page’s request after a slew of people disregarded social distancing guidelines and crammed together at the Lake of the Ozarks on Memorial Day.

Too late. This is what happens when there is no strength and morality in your leadership.

Fire Chief: “What’s the trouble?”

Fireman: “The Smith Building burned to the ground.”

Fire Chief: “O.K. Take action.”

Fireman: “FIRE!!!”

The health department recommended that those who flouted the guidelines self-quarantine for 14 days

LOL. Because people so unconcerned about exposure and disease severity are going to now become super-careful and responsible?

I’m pretty sure the Corona Virus was getting bored with jails and nursing homes, and will appreciate being shown a good time at bars and the beach.

I’m sorry but Missouri and the rest of the ‘red’ states issued namby pamby ‘guidelines’ while sucking up to Trump and his lies and NOW they are ‘surprised’ that nobody is following them. Honest to Christ. These ‘warnings’ must have been their contingency plans to try and cover their collective a$$e$ from the dawning realization of the populace that these politicians do not give a single sht about YOU.

IANAL, but this “warning” seems to have lawyers in mind.

We think of Mr. Trump’s base as being middle-aged and elderly Fox News viewers, but it looks like there are a lot of young MAGA supporters as well.

That looks ridiculous even without covid19. And interesting after watching a few episodes of Ozark series on Netflix this weekend!

That there is a public health mess even without Covid. Imagine the levels of urine, fecal matter, sweat, foot fungus, and blood in that water. You couldn’t pay me to enter that pool.

Absolutely. This is going to have enormous repercussions.

And there’s going to be a lot of sick and dead ones soon.

When I saw this video I immediately thought “White trash doing what white trash does”. It looked like spring break for adults, redneck Trumpie version. It’s almost like they’re intentionally doing this as some sort of pathetic “protest”. I bet they think they’re “owning the libs” by doing this. At least a few of them will be dead by summer. Will they protest that too?

I would not be surprised if the dire warnings being issued do not come to fruition, sure some cases will arise but not as drastic as is being touted.

Of course this will lead to a false sense of security, and when the second wave hits like it did the last time the results will be devastating. The last time being the pandemic of 1918-1919.

Something about young white idiots getting stone drunk and dancing aggressively in pools and on the beach has always struck me as more than somewhat fascistic, like they’re venting their pent-up anger at having to behave like decent people most of the time. At the root of all fascism is infantile and inchoate anger. It’s a form of inappropriate and misplaced rebellion.
