Facing overwhelming backlash after tanking a previously-approved veterans health benefits bill (known as the PACT Act) out of spite over Democrats’ climate and tax legislation, the Senate’s Republican leadership now seems to have realized that the tantrum isn’t worth it.
…and they’ll pretend like last week never happened.

Cruz-Daines fist bump on the floor of the Senate was not a good look for the GOP. Vets suffering from unimaginable illnesses and the GOP Senate makes sure the bill to help them goes down in flames and then they take a victory lap. Oh, and they blame the loss on Dems.
The Republicans know no shame! Every one of the ones who changed their vote should be hounded out of office.I hope TPM will publish a list of their names, as they are not fit to be in the Senate!. As a veteran, I will do everything possible to drive them out!
