A federal grand jury in Tucson has indicted Marshall Home, a “sovereign citizen” and former candidate for Mayor of Tucson, on ten counts of mail fraud, bankruptcy fraud and wire fraud, after he and his partner allegedly posed as representatives of Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac in order to acquire properties.Home and Margaret Elizabeth Broderick were indicted last week after they allegedly “devised a scheme and artifice to defraud, and to obtain money and property by means of false pretenses,” according to the indictment.
