ETA: Found it. Ugh.

Not enough.
Not even close to nearly enough.

Some Trump Officials who are quietly reaching out to Biden’s transition team are cowards…

WAIT, I think they all are cowards since I didn’t see any names in this article.

TPM’s editing is not one of its strong points! – but, as noted, I found the sentence in question to be perfectly clear.

“Nothing that would get us into trouble.”

Says it all: The administration is done, kaput, etc.

I guess they’re still hoping for wingnut welfare.

At least when Nero was playing his violin, he was doing something .

Hmm … so which behavior is more damaging, Trump doing something or Trump doing nothing?

32 days and counting.

Who cares? It was years ago and she’s only coming out with it now? We all know that Trump doesn’t like POC, so what does this do for us?

Why, for instance, didn’t she come out with this in 2015? I don’t get the significance of this story AFTER he lost the election, telling us something we already knew.

There are some around these parts who would have complained if a comma had been employed in that sentence.

Well, the “and” in question was perfectly clear but as for commas, don’t get me started!

Or maybe you already have. One and only one comma was employed:

A small group of current Trump officials and political appointees who departed the administration in recent months, have quietly started to reach out

What is that comma doing there after the word “months”?

O tempora, o mores!

Hmm … a comma “employed”? Not sure if that works.
Is that what you mean?

I’m so shocked. Never expected something like this.

Employed but misplaced. A metaphor for all of those current Trump officials (and perhaps for the political appointees who departed the administration in recent months as well).

Better be real quiet or they’ll get fired!

Emily Murphy might not ever issue a letter of ascertainment. She has made it clear she is unwilling to do her job.

My guess is that people might be getting less afraid of the NDAs they signed back in the day. I don’t expect much from this, but perhaps her coming forward will entice others to do so as well.

“Oh comma, up yours!”

“Like a Shop-Vac.”

The only thing that Donald Trump had a sexual affair with and didn’t have to pay out $130,000.
