Yes, in crimes involving white people, we have to prove intent. If they really believed TRump won, then they are not guilty.
Biggest lie I ever heard - ignorance of the law is no excuse. Apparently it is the number one excuse for white collar crime. Of course, there is a difference between white crime and white collar crime - but it is getting harder and harder to tell.

In addition to all the resources listed it was also quite apparent from the photos that a good number of them had cell phones and had them turned on. The LEOs have probably already gotten ahold of the cell tower logs and made inquiries of the major carriers and google and apple… With this data they will be able to track and identify each member of the crowd as they moved from the trump rally to and into the capitol. It is truly a brave New world.
