Rep. James Sensenbrenner (R-WI) reportedly appeared in a press conference today to talk climate change, and brought up the controversy surrounding scientists who allegedly manipulated data about climate change, which he refers to as “scientific fascism.”Sensenbrenner also apparently wrote a letter yesterday to head of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Dr. Rajendra Pachauri, demanding that “the cabal of supposed ‘cream-of-the-crop’ climate scientists” be excluded from the U.N. panel’s next report. He described how the “bad actors” involved in writing the “nefarious” emails “caused grave damage to the public trust in climate science in general, and to the IPCC, in particular.”
