While I’m waiting, I’ll toddle on down to the doctor’s office and get an abortion. Or maybe I should spend my time finding 3 forms of ID or worrying about notarizing my birth certificate, even though I invested in a ‘real’ ID during its first term. So many things that wouldn’t happen in America are happening.
Sorry Crone. If I tended to worry like that, I’d be dead drunk, or just dead. I anm barely four weeks out of aortic valve replacement. I operate on a basic level, and hold certain truths to be self evident. That life is short so we should be kind. That there is no life without love. That our courts are holding, the DoJ is an empty husk, and all the talent works for us now. There is much despair and pessimism masquerading as wisdom. That waking up from deep anaesthesia just as the sun rose through the ICU’s window is a deeply moving experience. . All is not lost. Find help with a professional, dear.

Not with this Congress.
The Democrats are WINNING this fight. They should not give in. They should hang the Trump Admin. and the GOP Congress out to dry.
When they get the trifecta in 2029, they should just hang all of them. (They won’t but they should.)

Had the same surgery and the same experience as you did in the fall of 2022. Hang in there - the discomfort goes away by the 8th week. You will feel like a new kid by 12 weeks !
