This is the time to collect names and numbers of everyone, top to bottom, who is associated with this operation. They will be prosecuted, and no one will be giving them a pardon. Start the public list and display it boldly. This is not a threat, it’s a promise.

An essential ICE reform that pops up in the list from time to time (not nearly often enough) is to set legislative standards for ICE detention facilities, including those operated by contractors, with enforcement teeth. Standards for construction, heating and cooling, inmate density, food quality, medical health and safety resources, inmate records and tracking, contact with family and legal counsel, qualifications for personnel, education resources and child protection. Stuff like that.

Hell, just apply the normal rules of engagement for prisoners of war. They aren’t even doing that now.
