Why do they not have “non-compete” restrictions ?
Seriously … if you work for a major or even minor company it is highly likely that you will have a non-compete restriction.
This is just wrong … the SS should strive for the utmost in impartiality… and if one does depart to take a partisan role … they should not be eligible for reinstatement.

Who agreed on this, permitted it and is it within the service to allow it to happen. What was agreed on? Was it agreed that when Trump was no longer a thing, he could return? Questions galore. But for the moment I do not see any indication of wrong doing.
He is being re-assigned. As an Asst. Director. Of Training. Maybe it is prestigious as they say. But it is not front line. I won’t be surprised if he is all in for Trump if he doesn’t exit.
It is also a shot across the bow of not only the Secret Service, but the other federal agencies that they will be de-wraithed.
