The arrogance is breathtaking but also oddly banal, a functional clearing of the decks on the way to fixing a system of privilege and order they perceive liberals damaged. They do not seem to think about the consequences other than to dismiss them, in the moral sense they do not seem to think at all, only in the steps necessary to accomplish the task at hand. If the piecemeal dismantling of the liberal state’s foundations was a palpable goal we could call them evil but the main thing that comes through in their words and logic is irritation, not just at liberal impediments to the unrestrained exercise of power but at those who question the right to it.
