Nice to know I’m “old & in the way”
… … … …
Old & In the Way was a bluegrass group formed in 1973. It was composed of Peter Rowan (guitar, vocals), Vassar Clements (fiddle), Jerry Garcia (banjo, vocals), David Grisman (mandolin, vocals), and John Kahn (string bass). When the group was forming, it was intended that John Hartford would be the fiddle player. Based on Hartford’s engagements, and Clements’ reputational stature in the bluegrass community, Clements became the group’s fiddler.

Yep Jerry Garcia of the Dead was a damn good banjo player. And he played Blue Grass.

Prior to the Grateful Dead Garcia was the Bay Area’s hottest banjo picker. He said his perfect week would be two nights playing in the Grateful Dead, two nights with the Garcia Band and two nights with one of his bluegrass bands.
ETA, Vassar Clements was in a league of his own.

No. The freighter’s Turkish, and there was no serious damage to the carrier. Definitely not intentional. Just a dumbass civilian cargo pilot trying to get someplace a little quicker by (literally) cutting corners.

There is always tar and feathers.
I see it as “Al” - as in short for Albert - every damn time.
I am old enough to remember when girls were not allowed to wear pants to school. Not even in Minnesota in the winter. You may be complacent about this but I am not. I know that the fascists are chomping at the bit to restore dress codes and any other form of oppression of women they can manage.

Find me the part of Project 2025 that would prohibit the wearing of pants.
It’s not there. Nobody gives a shit about it. Warren Jeffs is in prison.
This the cowards on SCOTUS will enforce.
