Well, in my experience it might convince people, but it won’t technically prove it… 
And even though his ancestors weren’t allowed to vote, but did count as 3/5th of a vote for representation and direct taxation purposes.

What I sound is irritated and frustrated that the Lefty Progressives can not do good retail politics and insist on being preachy tone deaf fools insisting on snobbish Lefty academic language rather than playing a smarter goddamn political game.

Barely pulling out a victory (by electoral geography where it goddamn counts) against the single most unpopular President in our lifetimes is not some stunning recommendation that the Dems have Comms right (outside racking up votes in already Progressive basions, but that doesn’t win Congressional control).

And what exactly is “retail politics”? Some word crap you made up to sound educated?
It’s kind of cute that you think ads against Progressives will create voters.
Their share of income is now a little less than 25%, so playing to them at the expense of the other 75% makes no sense, even if you insist on calling it retail politics, which has become less and less effective as methods of reaching larger audiences have proliferated.
