@EliotJacobson
For the statisticians among us, the green line traces the boundary of “5 standard deviations” from the mean daily Antarctic sea ice extent for the 30 year period 1991-2020.

And today’s extent hit a new record low of -5.34σ, a full 2,780,000 km² below the 1991-2020 daily mean.

You have done remarkably well in your work, Thank you for telling your great story of what can be done.

Having trusted community leaders provide science and research findings to citizens who are most widely effected by the results of the research is critical. Involving citizens is necessary – providing them with information and resources to help themselves, their environments, and their future. Coalitions among scientists, doctors, politicians and citizens are great opportunities to change behaviors and health. Unfortunately, these programs take time or organize and achieve lasting results. Grant money is almost completely dried up for these programs.

And yes, minority involvement is really needed in all phases of work – from research to implementation to sustainability. We need to do better in all of this. And our political opponents are doing everything in their power to stop all progress.

As opposed to what?

From which animal does he actually believe beer comes? Did anyone challenge him on this or did they let it go because the absurdity of it astounded the audience into silent disbelief that someone could be so %^&I$% stupid?

Oh WoW! Does this mean the hops will have to be bug free? What a loss in taste.

And yet Fux News will keep him on, because he helps with the stupidification of their viewership.

Plant-based beer? You mean, like, beer brewed with barley, wheat, rice, corn, hops, sorghum, herbs, etc., along with with water and yeast, is not currently a thing?

I’m a strict vegetarian when it comes to beer.

Most professional science organizations promote racial and other diversity, trying to encourage everybody to be active participants in science. I’ve seen major changes in societies that were historically 99% white males.

Maybe that’s why I don’t drink the stuff. Not a vegetarian…

With people like Larry in charge of the news, our outcome is guaranteed!

I thought that Larry Kudlow quote had to be a joke, but I checked and he said that.

Now, if we want to be scientific about it, a completely plant-based beer would have to omit yeast, which is a fungus and not a plant. It wouldn’t be beer as we know it, Jim, but it would be plant-based.
