We have been seeing this coming from his inauguration in January, 2017. We knew this day would come, and here we are. What now? I love Adam Schiff, but he is grasping at straws here. We are drowning in Trump’s sea of contempt.
Some may … but many, many are bubbling over with excitement thinking about what piece of the pie they may be able to get in a new totalitarian regime. Visions of sugar plums dance in their heads!
Schiff, It’s time to get the baseball bats out. You Dems have to battle it out on the same terms as your opponent. Making threats and sending stern letters will get your no where. Before you know it, you won’t have a country worth fighting for. Now is the time.

Schiff’s ludicrous gesture is just so friggin’ typical of weak-ass Dems who’re afraid to use one ounce of power to rein in this existential threat to our nation. It reminds me of when Apu confronted Homer who was ripping open candy to find a magic ticket:

trump just threatened to steal our country and the GOP is still hiding under the blankets. What country do we live in? What country does the GOP honor?
We must vote EVERY Republican OUT of our government. They enabled this rancid behavior.
The first thing we’ll hear is that he’s being taken out of context. According to them, he will have meant fraudulent ballots, and so on and so forth. The fact that they take any disfluency in Biden as proof that he is unfit will not be an issue.
There will be no focus on the fact that he has not committed to a peaceful transfer. The focus will be on how unfair it is to use his words against him.
To step back and take a deep breath … if the are large numbers of individuals who might - on moral and ethical grounds proclaim " this is criminal" …it may be best to strategically time the outbursts … and maybe save some for a final knockout punch … and maybe keep some embedded for surveillance.
On behalf of Canada, I would like to extend New York, the New England states, NJ, RI, Delware, Maryland, Virginia, Illinois, the three west coast states and any other state that wishes an invitation to join Canada in the event that Trump and the republicans try and simply usurp power after the election. Actually makes a little sense as I suspect there is a lot more commonality between the values of the blue states and Canada compared with the red states. See you on the 4th!
