There’s 2 Articles of Impeachment and voters are becoming more favorable to Impeachment (I think i saw 58% in latest poll). However, you have to get this information out to the public during the House Investigations. The Senate will not hold a trial, they will give it a week and then vote to acquit.

If this guy wants to testify like he says he does (I’m not sure I believe that btw) he should quit his job and do so, otherwise he’s basically a co-conspirator. If he’s so wealthy its not like he needs this job, besides the fact is he did work for tRump doing something that has nothing to do with his job description. For that he’s already implicated in crossing inappropriate lines in commission of a crime, which at the very least are campaign finance laws that prevent one from working with a foreign gov’t to influence an election.

Subpoena is Latin for something … I just wish the Democrats knew what it was.

Wait, people didn’t realize that RCP is basically white washed RWNJ? I thought that was pretty obvious based on which “writers” they typically aggregated.

Apparently it was just a request to appear and since this guy was willing to appear (and said he wanted to) they didn’t hand him a subpoena originally. That needs to change. I hope Schiff has learned his lesson and issues the subpoenas right away next time in order to constantly prevent this sort of obstruction from the WH. Its predictable that they do this so why not issue the subpoenas from the get-go?

People probably do. I knew the site for polling, but I didn’t know they were that obnoxious.(15 seconds later) Oh yes I see…Rasmussen polls…CNN polls…meh

I’m Sick of this type of criticism. It’s bullshit basically.

Unless the goal is to try to catch all if not most of the Ukrainegate perps or get all of them on record as Obstructing Congress, then Chairman Schiff has to start to make these unpatriotic and unlawful Thugs-R-Us face consequences! Otherwise, these impeachment inquiry will go the same route as the Mueller Report!

Does inherent contempt of Congress include freezing assets aside from fines or jail time?

If it does, then Dem Congress should fine first, freeze assets and jail time as last resort!

Whiners gotta whine. There’s a whole flock of them around these parts.

Every cooperating witness should be served with a subpoena as soon as they have agreed to appear. Never count on the other side’s witnesses appearing at trial voluntarily.

Excellent tactic to make a cooperating witness a hostile one.

Good point. But I’d guess Sondland is going to be hostile either way. I’d trust his intent to cooperate about as far as I can throw a piano.

I’ve had it with this. Issue a subpoena and then lock them up if they don’t show. I’m tired of all the obstruction and theater.

This administration has demonstrated over and over again that it has no respect for Congress as a co-equal branch of government. Until Congress uses the power they have (and they have this power), they will continue to be abused. It’s not complicated. Issue the subpoenas, and get their testimony, or send them to jail. I’m well past impotent outrage.

People only point out when it doesn’t work out… Worked out just fine with Volker last week.
