Agreed. I think actually the WH “brain”-trust once again was too stupid to realize that Schiff would have gamed this out. Again and again, Schiff and crew have had a tremendous (mostly document-based) counterpunch available.

Bizarre at this point that Schiff felt himself bound by anything the White House has to say. Should have released these at the first opportunity, with his own redactions. You don’t let the criminal gang in the White House decide what information about their own crimes gets released. You want Congress to have power? You assert it. You act.

Like the Ukraine investigation that would follow it, the investigation into the Trump campaign’s effort to seek and utilize Russian help in 2016 and to obstruct justice, reveal a President who believes that he is above the law
Well, he is, as long as he’s got the support of Moscow Mitch.
Except that the mole they’re taking whacks at … is our justice system!
And the damage they’re doing will live on after them.

Sadly, none of this will matter until next year. Trump must be defeated in November at all costs. The only death star I want to see is the one targeting and taking him and his minions out of the mix so solidly that there’s nothing left but smoke and ash.
There’s no doubt as to what’s in these transcripts, but you can bet, since they’ve been held back for over a year, it’s pretty bad.
Problem now is, there’s a corrupt DOJ and no power in the Congress to do anything about these.
So stay tuned, but nothing will happen now in the near term.

I think they are safe in the fact that those two are just ass holes…these are lifetime appointments so they can’t really be blackmailed, they are however completely free to let their inner ass holes out with impunity. Elections have consequences people and I hope everyone keeps in mind who will get to replace RGB when they vote this fall

This is all a blatantly desperate attempt by this maladministration to cover up this information until after the election and beyond. There are a lot of people looking at serious jail time when Attorney General of The United States of America- Kamala Harris- sets competent career prosecutors loose in this trove of evidence and the indictments start coming fast and furious. These criminals in the Executive Branch will be faced with the possibility of public trials and praying that they can get their convictions overturned by SCOTUS or plea bargaining their way to guilty to mitigate their prison sentences.
