In reality-world, Sanders spent a lot of time campaigning for Clinton in 2016. Clearly he thinks a woman “can win”, given the result of 2016. This story is a clear lie, and Sanders has denied it.
This story is a desperate attempt to smear Sanders, made by people who have given up on honest politics.

Warren has been under steady attack from places like CNBC and “news” sources that are not particularly paid attention to by political junkie types. She seems to be regaining a little footing as of late which may explain some frustration and desperation by Sanders. Bottom line is Biden has a good chunk of the African American vote and Booker followers aren’t going to Bernie, they’re going to Biden. Last week,both Bernie and Liz took some shots at Joe Biden that don’t appear to have dented him. He didn’t respond to either. He’s been running in his lane since he announced last April. He lost some numbers in the polling after his announcement bounce and after the first debate but his numbers have been consistent since then and his fundraising improved in the last quarter of 2019. Bernie and Liz are left with trying to draw voters from elsewhere,mainly from each other. Not an easy task ahead for either.
I actually like Bernie, but the man just had a heart attack. Why the hell is he still running. I think most Warren/Sanders voters probably have the other one second. Just get out of the race and give Warren a chance. She’d probably be ahead of Biden if Bernie was gone. And his health will magically become the issue of the campaign if he gets the nomination. The media will suddenly care and claim it’s disqualifying.
