Same-sex couples in Washington began taking their marriage vows on Sunday, just over a month after the state approved gay marriage on Nov. 6, the AP reports. Marriage licenses became available to gay couples on Thursday but due to the state’s state’s three-day waiting period, weddings had to wait until Sunday morning.
