Their numbers, even if increased by 70%, still look a lot better per capita than the US. I don’t get what Putin’s robots are pissed off about. Let’s let him have Trump and all of his pals like Steven Miller, Sean Hannity, Kellyanne Conway, and the rest of them, who will fix all of his problems. I have found that in many instances New York Times foreign reporting tends to hew more closely to official American State Department policy than to actual facts on the ground. It is quite biased. I don’t know about NYT or FT reporters in Russia but I think that their journalistic veracity and bias can be objectively assessed on a more testable matter than COVID-19 of course, by observer citizen-journalists on the ground. Many countries now have citizen-journalists who audit fact check time, location, details in news articles from sources on site.
The numbers have been rigged by the CDC since the start of the epidemic. I am certain that the Republican party has already taken measures to manipulate the cause-of-death information and excess death data so that it reflects President Skanky Turdface’s point-of-view and feelings.

The Covid numbers are low, but Polonium poisoning, Novichok deaths, fentanyl dispersion accidents, and falls from windows have surged recently.

According to https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/ you’re now number 3 with a bullet. Soon you’ll be second…behind the USA.
(Just an aside, Spain is reported to be number 2 according to that worldometer link. MSNBC and CNN have Spain with about 50,000 fewer cases. Don’t know why this is. If anyone understands why it’s so different, perhaps you could comment here. I’d certainly appreciate knowing why that is happening.)
