Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) on Tuesday morning completely ignored the fact that President Trump and several of his cabinet members attended Ivy League schools when he attempted to mock members of President-elect Joe Biden’s incoming administration.
Yeah elitist. Marco supports an man who behaves like a Latin American caudillo while he spends his career decrying those like him in South and Central America.
By almost any measure China is in a stronger position vis-a-vis the U.S. than it was when Trump took office. The “trade war” has been a total failure and our abdication of leadership in the world has left a huge vacuum for China to fill. Plus we can no longer take the high road on democracy or human rights, after Trump has repeatedly trashed and badmouthed both.
Somebody who’s gone over to the Dark Side of marketing wrote that crap, and it’s really very simple with no need to pick it apart for inconsistencies. Biden has obviously rolled out a pretty solid Cabinet so far. It’ll be a return of competence, civility, normality, public service, all that fun stuff. So Trump and his enablers look bad, right? Au contraire, normie! Nonononono, you see, Trump had to be obnoxious, had to be bizarre, had to break stuff, to preserve and enhance American greatness! Since these folks aren’t like him, then by irrefutable illogic they are not in favor of greatness! They want us to decline in relation to China because shut up they just do! This is called argument by assertion in some circles, “just saying shit” in others. It’s pretty simple really. Shake hands because you’re going to be seeing it around a lot.
Trump’s cabinet picks went to Ivy League schools, have strong resumes, attend all the Alt-right conferences & will be active and willing participants in America’s decline
I support Trump’s attack on American greatness
And I have no interest in returning to the “normal” that left us independent of Russia.
ETA: It really is always projection with these guys.
Senator Rubio needs to take a marketing class. I thought he was branding himself as one of the ‘sane, sensible Republicans’, but now he seems to be positioning himself as some version of Sarah Palin (without the folksy idioms…).
