Romney Puts Trump On Blast In Scathing Rebuke Of ‘Hate-Filled Morass’ In US Politics

I would add two more:

  1. Democrats are Socialists.

  2. Democrats are Communists.

I’m unsure if Susan Collins or Mitt Romney is the bigger concern troll.

Mitt should fucking do something to stop it then.

Mitch McConnel has done more to poison our politics and how our government operates than Trump can ever dream of and everyday Mitt has the power to vote in a way that can stop him. He only enables McConnell’s behavior by wrapping his failings around Trump rather then where they belong.

It has been said I think correctly, that Mitt Romney flirts with greatness. But then he always backs away in the end. The man really could be a strong voice against Trump, especially coming from a state that will re-elect him despite his opposition to Trump, but Mitt never quite gets there.

I suppose we’ll know if one ever has concern for the other.

“…and that’s why I’ll vote to entrench a far right court to maintain this state of affairs for the remainder of my lifetime.”

“I find the President’s behavior troubling! So I’ll give him whatever he wants.”

Such a joke coming from Romney. Why are people so angry? Because they don’t feel like they’re in control, because of rampant rule-breaking. Like Merrick Garland for example. What can be done to fix it? Maybe fairness, and using whatever leverage you have to try to fix that by fighting against the rubber-stamping of this ideologue, maybe, Mitt?

Oh another troubled. Gee how quaint.

“Squeaks” is the perfect verb for this timid (not to mention cynical and self-serving) behavior.

There’s still a slight chance he joins Murkowski and Collins in a no vote on Barrett. If you live in Utah, worth calling his office to pressure him to do so. I don’t know how we’ll get the required 4th but 3 is better than 2.

“Romney also offered a bewildering reprimand of Keith Olbermann”
Hey Mitt any words about Sean Hannity or Tucker Carlson?

Mitt is afraid of the dems learning from Gingrich/Cheney/McConnell master class in power. When wine moms come out in favor of packing the courts, they know they’re in trouble.

This is a strange, let’s call it bizarre, thing to appear from Mittens at this moment. He thinks this will register with anyone? If he wants the bilehole to yell at him on Tweeter to bolster his cred in the future this ain’t the way to do it.

I suspect he checks with mitchie before saying these things or voting against something. It seems he only does it when his vote doesn’t matter, or when there’s no action behind his words. And has Collins actually said she’d vote against Barrett, or just that she doesn’t approve?

Trump will go down in history as a truly vile character, the worst of the worst in America. On the other hand, history will praise Peloci’s disdain and rejection of Trumpism expressed by tearing up Trump’s hate filled speech. Pelosi’s action, for all to see, is the the iconic symbol of the rejection of the divisiveness that Romney says he opposes.

Sounds like this article wants to give Mittens some credit for speaking up against the constant shit-storm attacks unleashed by his party, but essentially tRump as their role model and Dear Leader…but in the next breath it proves utterly vapid as he goes on to both-sides the issue, attacking the victims of tRump and his party’s indecent and unfounded attacks, as fighting back against the maelstrom his party has intentionally created and forced on the country.

Stop with giving these Repukes credit for any of their half-assed attempts at decency. Its phony nonsense. Mittens is as much a supporter of tRump’s crap in actual terms as the rest of them. Unless he offers a true condemnation of what his party is doing under tRump he has no business taking shots at those that have been the victims of his party’s political pot-shots and offensive behavior. None whatsoever. He’s always been a fraud, a corporate stand-in in Congress for the uber-wealthy-class and a flip-flopping suck-up in regards to any principle that is able to divert money away from that top tier of corporate welfare and trust-fund babies.

Possibly Mitt is going to do something that makes a profound difference in the course of history?

"Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) put out a blunt statement on Tuesday on how he has become ‘troubled’ by ‘our politics’…”

“Now if you’ll excuse me,” he continued, “I need to ram through this SCOTUS pick before the jig is up.”
