At one point in the interview, in a segment that was not aired on the broadcast, Trump tried to get O’Donnell to acknowledge that crime was down in Washington DC, where she lives.
“You live here. You know that too,” Trump said, asking O’Donnell: “Do you see a difference?”
“I think I’ve been working too hard,” O’Donnell responded. “I haven’t been out and about that much … I get in my car and go to work and I go home.”
Trump said “that’s not a fair answer” and insisted that O’Donnell noticed a difference.
All she had to say was “No”.
I haven’t noticed a difference. But like her, I live in a low crime area. Where they also haven’t noticed a difference is the high crime areas where these troops and federal agents AREN’T deployed.

At, I dunno, $500 a pop, I can imagine him having an aide who does nothing but put shirts on him and take them off, similar to the (military?) people assigned to raising and lowering American flags over the White House Capitol all day, for delivery to Congressional requesters. 
It would raise a series of awkward questions. Even there.

The guy that was the supervisor for my move this weekend was a Russian immigrant, as was the entire loading team. Thank Heavens I had a little Russian language in college. But my point is he was all in favor of the military. Lives in Brooklyn and said it was quite dangerous.
I wasn’t gonna argue with him.
