One time I wasted a bunch of money on a 23andMe that showed me I’m from Brownsville, Texas. And what I saw was someone who looks a lot like my dad, someone who looks a lot like my uncles, who has every right to be in the space that he was in being thrown down. This Father’s Day, I’m going to head down to Brownsville to see my dad. He’s telling me three of the restaurants we normally go to are just totally closed. And I said, Why? It’s of a piece with everything else on the right. Look at the way right-wingers and braindead journalists stenographers constantly whine that Bluesky and other non-Twitter social media sites are failing safe spaces or echo chambers, and that real conversation only takes place in Musk’s pig pen. All the usual suspects will seek out No Kings rallies tomorrow because they’re junkies for conflict and hate being ignored by their political opposition as much as they hate being disowned by their children/grandchildren.

My belief is and has been that Trump wants to kill a few non ass kissers to show the World how to handle people who believe in freedom.
He also wants to show his manhood, that he never had, by hiding some where that is safe while others do the dirty. Then he struts out like he is the hero.
