I promise you you’re looking at something like 50 - 1. This is how stupid “conservative comedy” is. It’s not funny. It’s just one angry asshole belching his rage at people.

If you think I’m taking it too far, consider Uncle Walt’s original concept for Epcot (Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow) in his own words: Epcot, according to Disney, “will always be a showcase to the world for the ingenuity and imagination of American free enterprise.” It was intended as “a planned, controlled community, a showcase for American industry,” with “no slum areas because we won’t let them develop.” Disney was adamant that no one would own their homes, and “therefore no voting control.” Above all else, every resident at Epcot must work as a cog in the machine of the corporation – “There will be no retirees; everyone must be employed.” (1) Living in a radial city that expanded outward, residents would be subject to constant surveillance and could have their homes regularly entered without their consent by authorities. Epcot was Disney’s utopia – a perfectly fascist city, free from unions, privacy, democracy, and social security. When you could no longer work, Epcot would discard you to keep the corporation efficient.

In normal marketing terms it’s a terrible name for a kid’s media channel, or any channel for that matter, due to the association with something that doesn’t work. Or the slang “get bent” which basically means f*ck off. But I guess it’s getting harder every day to find a unique name for something.

I may be out of step here, but in principle I don’t have a problem with this effort to provide a right-wing entertainment network. Of course, I object to hate speech, etc., no matter where it occurs. But not all right-wing content is hate speech.
This might succeed in a modest way compared to the supposedly “woke” outlets it attempts to counterbalance. And if it does, it provides a counterargument to those who complain that the media is monopolized by the left. Namely, “There’s no monopoly on entertainment – this is just the free market you claim to love so much operating as it should.”
That counterargument won’t fly with the serious right-wingers … they will always claim that they are being victimized in one way or another. But it would permit the response, “There are media outlets that cater to your politics … most people just don’t like them.”

IDF is on a fools errand in Gaza. Hamas is just a symptom. As long as Palestinians have popular support in the Arab world and the pump jacks keep spewing petrodollars in the Middle East, this conflict will continue.

Today’s anti-woke crowd should celebrate Disney instead of trying to compete against it.
ETA: One of the great ironies is the deep animosity between fascism and communism (in their strict economic definitions), when they are basically the same system with a different ownership structure. EPCOT is a commune with the means of production owned by the corporation instead of the people.
