There are 20 regular seats + 2 special election seats that up for election for Republicans. And they’re all from Republican states, or leans Republican. It would be an awful shame if they stumbled and collapsed in Nov elections.

Republican leadership refused to offer any amendments to the reconciliation package that would’ve legislatively prevented the fund from being created, out of fear that Trump might get angry and refuse to sign the immigration package into law.

They’re afraid that the incredibly unpopular thing that their own constituents hate, might affect the passing of the increasingly unpopular thing that their own constituents are starting to think might not be bringing peace and prosperity?
