Republicans Have Wanted To Cut Medicare And Social Security For Decades

I thought I was very good at faking sincerity until I met George Santos. Now I’m sincerely chastened.

As someone who’s been around more than just a few decades, I can confirm.

I think Biden could get a tiny smidge of “fiscal conservatism” cred with the small number of fiscally conservative swing voters left, by declaring all-out war on waste, fraud, and abuse in Medicare and Medicaid provision–money that doesn’t go to poor people but to rich criminal assholes like Rick Scott. It could accompany a more robust rhetoric of war on gazillionaire tax cheats.

Without a shadow of a doubt, this should be done.

in other Republican miscreant news:

The Republican is a hotly tipped White House contender for 2024.

Also on Friday, Florida lawmakers gave Mr DeSantis effective control of the board that oversees development in and around Disney’s state theme parks, raising the stakes in his battle with the entertainment conglomerate, which he has labelled “woke”.

The bill authorises the governor to appoint five supervisors to run an oversight board of the area surrounding the Walt Disney World resort. The board has the power to delay or block development plans by Disney, such as to build a new theme park, hotel or road, on the 25,000 acres.

“There’s a new sheriff in town,” Mr DeSantis said earlier this week as he claimed victory in his spat with the state’s biggest private employer.

Ron Destructor is “hotly tipped” to do away with medicare, medicare and social security too.

The news that Ron wanted to ban guns at his event but “blame” the state for it is going to hurt him. Trump will never let it go.

DWS is good. Very good in this clip. She makes Turley, a seasoned Washington insider and experienced legal professional, look like a naïf.

Yes. No private insurance is going to even attempt to cover the range of Social Security benefits. Disability, and survivor benefits for two examples.

It gets even worse for Medicare and Medicaid. Our existing private insurance costs twice as much as any other national health program and provides around the thirty to thirty-five levels worse care.

Chuck, Dana, Mrs. Greenspan, Nina, and the rest of the “Meek Brigade” won’t criticize it either.

I’m no Bernie-Bro, but i am surprised he hasn’t screamed about the economic advantages of Medicare 4 All. He’s allowed to do that outside of his own personal campaign.

And Sheriff Ron is now an expert on entertainment complexes, as well as on health care for pregnant women, and on the science of climatology, and on the morality of human trafficking…

My goodness. Is there anything Republicans can’t do?

As I understand it, Republicans want to slash Medicare, abolish Medicaid, cut Social Security, not increase the minimum wage, reduce worker protections, cut educational opportunities and childcare, and yet, they’re considered the “pro life” party? The party that believes in the teachings of Jesus Christ by many Americans? They have yet to meet a single program designed to help the underclasses that they can support.

This is way beyond disrespect, it’s utter contempt for their fellow man. It’s as close as they can get in the present day to turning back the clock to the antebellum South, except these policies are just a bit more racially inclusive. If they could get away with flogging the poors, I bet they would.
