Article I, Section 1: All legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.
Article 1, Section 7: If after such reconsideration [after a presidential veto] two thirds of that House shall agree to pass the bill, it shall be sent, together with the objections, to the other House, by which it shall likewise be reconsidered, and if approved by two thirds of that House, it shall become a law.

Well, his approve/disapprove poll average on 538 is now down to 40.9/54.2, the biggest spread and lowest approval he’s had since February. More importantly, this has been the trend, incrementally, for the past couple of months. He’s taking hits from all directions, all due to his own incompetence, corruption and malfeasance, so he can continue to be the incompetence self-dealing shitbag he’s always been, but it’s having a political effect and it’s going to get worse. If I were Moscow Mitch, I’d be worried, very, very, very worried. Plus, Dems may yet get serious about oversight.

Actually, I don’t think that Republicans need the Russians to pull off this bit of evil policy. They have always done it well enough on their own in achieving it.
