Me too. Although between eye surgery for a cataract, and a nasty crash from an inattentive driver who ploughed into my reinforced rear bumper on my old Tacoma and hassles with their insurance ( do not do any business with Geico) it has been a September I’d rather forget.
I’ll not watch any goober debate. They’ll just try to out right wing each other.

How can I when Hulu is headlining “Dancing with the Stars” or the movie “A Bridge Too Far” (a fine WW2 war epic)?? It’s too bad the studios never made a war epic about the Battle of the Philippine Sea which was a tooth and nail rip em up battle with a small Anerican escort class carrier facing down multiple major Japanese warships and planes.

Kern County was populated in the '30s by Dust Bowl refugees, Fresno County isn’t exactly liberal, nor is the rest of the Central Valley and parts East. San Diego County used to be a very right-wing Navy center with very rich, reactionary towns on the coast; don’t know whether it still is, or has gone the way of Orange County with an influx of folks of varied ethnicity. California might well be purple still, if Pete Wilson hadn’t gone to war against the rights of the descendants of our original settlers and their newly arrived cousins. [spits]
