Reports: Grand Jury For Hush Money Probe Set To Break For A Month

Not touching anything Trump when they get back, between Trump’s all caps and Jim Jordan’s letters managed to scare Bragg into dropping the whole matter, and not for the first time.

Befitting…

… now that we are dealing with an archcriminal announcing a POTUS candidacy far in advance.

Now that he is “emboldened”, look for some ill-advised (running-with-the-bulls-in-Pamplona) taunting and Bluster…

Ill-advised.

I’d ask which 1, but ‘pot-stirring’ is probably against TPM’s tos.

If Trump had not set an expectation “drop dead” date, we would hardly even notice this.

Welp, once again delay. This time from the GJ. trump must be pleased at how his “training” of the legal system is functioning. It’s really something to behold. A guy creates an insurrection within a violent riot at the US Capitol building with the intent to stop certification of his loss to Joe Biden. The reason being to illegally hold onto power. A coup. An attempt to become a dictator. That is still his purpose in life. And our “justice system” has yet to hold him to account. Other bit players are in prison or elsewhere in the system. But not trump. He is free to roam where he will. I get the distinct feeling trump could shoot someone on 5th ave as he once said and nothing would legally happen to him. It seems to be that way now.

If it can keep TFG twisting in the wind, waiting for the verdict, fine with me.
He calls it victory to have it delayed, but it’s not going away.

Pple would’ve complained, because ‘timeline’. The issue now is: are we able to be patient and have a final say about how this ends (Trump remains in the system) ?

If cynicism erupts or goes turbo, then that’s a problem, because that means a supposed majority (progressives n centrists) still have a problem doing what’s right.

This will backfire on Trump, in my opinion. If we act like this is a “win” for him, he surely will as well…and Trump, with “good news” (?) on his side exceeds his normal obnoxiousness.

(?)=maybe

Two stories, presented without comment but both worth the reading time.

You ever hear the old sane “missing the forest for the trees”?

As I predicted when Trump first claimed he was going to be indicted, Trump was not indicted.

Now whether Trump made his prediction because as you say “it was a reasonable prediction” or as I say Trump’s prediction was totally political, and political genus at that, and any connection to what Trump ever says and the facts is purely coincidental, I leave to the impartial trier of fact.

But to that issue, just look at the difference Trump’s prediction has made both in regard to his control, standing and that of his opponents for the GOP nomination as while as his overall legal situation before and after Trump made his prediction. Trump has pushed hid GOP rivals aside making them look small in comparison and has gotten many GOP leaders to rally to his aid at both the federal, state and local level. Now the GOP is committed at all levels to investigate and interfere with prosecutors and even passing state laws to fire local DAs who go after Republicans.

Hell, even the mainstream and liberal media has called on the NY DA not to go first. So once again everyone is calling for someone else to hold Trump accountable for a crime.

Let’s not forget Trump’s faithful who, and Trump will likely make this claim, whose courage to stand up to the hateful anti-democratic liberals destroying America caused them to back down on their prosecution of conservatives and true patriotic Americans like Trump. The decision to not indict Trump, Trump will claim, is due to the fear good Americans put into the corrupt Democrats and the corporate media that hate America that he is not being persecuted.

So in discussing Trump’s LIE that he was about to be indicted, I leave to the impartial trier of fact whether he made this claim because it was “reasonable” or that it made as a political move that forced the entire Republican Party to bow to him and defend him and coward the media and likely will have given his base the feeling of empowerment.

You have to admit that, when exposed to legal jeopardy, Pecker’s cockiness and stiff resolve softened quickly, shrinking his flaccid attempts at avoiding testimony to a state of legal impotence. I’d say Bragg really shafted Trump with Pecker’s package of evidence. In the end, Pecker screwed Trump big time by discharging his duty as a witness for the prosecution.
