How would you even do this in practice? It would require counting everyone and then eliminating those who aren’t here illegally, which they don’t know since they don’t even know citizenship status let alone legal immigration status. The “rudimentary approach” described in the tweet is nonsense.
Of course, most likely with this crew they’d just strike everyone with a Hispanic last name, but I’m not sure Texas and Florida would be too happy about that.

Um, since the census did NOT ask for citizenship, just the number of people in the house, their age and race, how exactly is the census going to not count people the census doesn’t specify?

All this is referring to is any reporting before Donnie is booted out on Jan. 20th and the litigation will hold that up until then, for sure…

The court would almost certainly consolidate the hearing on the temporary injunction with the trial on the merits, per FRCP 65(a)(2). The result will be a permanent injunction that Trump can either appeal to the DC Circuit or try to leapfrog the intermediate courts again again to a Supreme Court that is not gonna want any part of this anti-textualist garbage.

Some GOP anti-immigration hardliners, like former Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, have argued that there was some legal wiggle room that would allow for undocumented immigrants to not be counted in congressional apportionment.
Fuck Kris KKobach! His entire intellectual ability is limited to that tiny bit of wiggle room inside that tiny little brain of his. The vast majority of people in home state can’t stand the sight of him any longer. He’s a wannabe has-been if there ever was one.
