Report: Trump Casts Doubt On COVID-19 Death Toll, Believes True Number Could Be Lower

I think they’re doing the same thing in FL. Palin’s imaginary death panels sure seem like child’s play compared with this national conspiracy.

Capitalists lie through their teeth?

You could knock me down with a feather.

The worst thing is, the current US numbers: 73,667 Dead, don’t even include the numbers from Florida, Texas, and other Republican States that are REFUSING to publish their death numbers so as to hold the number down to help Trump.

Makes her look like a slightly skewed oracle.

He keeps moving the goal posts on his prediction but the numbers forcing him to move the goal posts are fake?

Will someone in the media please call him out, to his face, when he starts selling his new snake oil next week. PLEASE! This is enough.

But they shouldn’t be allowed to decide what information a mayor needs to know when he is trying to protect his city.

Uh, depending on the breaks.

Fortunately not: there’s too much evidence showing that he knows, and makes allowances for, how others view the right or wrong of his actions.

Alarmed by the high number of fatalities, Dumpsterfire addresses the situation in the way he understands best.
(change the numbers, that is…)

But Duncan Hunter says it is very very serious.

I wonder how they made that outrageous connection.

They are working on lowering the true number.

The Arizona Department of Health Services sent an email ordering an Arizona State University and University of Arizona team to “pause” the work they were doing compiling data on COVID-19 cases in the state. The schools were sent this order to stand down just hours after Republican Gov. Doug Ducey announced his grand reopening plans for Arizona, beginning May 8.

They don’t even try to hide the corruption anymore.

I couldn’t really give a damn as to what this man “believes.” His opinion on anything is pretty damned near worthless. Luckily, the virus will ignore any belief system on go on its merry way.

Awesome! Trump will attempt to paint Marcus Welby, MD as a deep state conspirator. AWESOME! Tiger blood WINNING!

It does not matter what he believes or doesn’t believe. In three years, if he survives this thing, he will be able to stroll down the the national mall past his black marble wall with all the covids names on it and count them knowing that but for him their names would not be on there. This is the only legacy that he is going to get out of his presidency. Once he gets voted out of office his legal bills are going to wipe out his wealth, his brand is going to be worthless and more than likely his family will abandon him like rats from a sinking ship. Unlike most former Presidents that bask in the honorifics bestowed on him by his former subjects, he is going to find nothing but loneliness with his days filled with bitterness. By this time, the only two structures that will have his name on them will be this wall with all the names and a park bench upon which he sits passing the days away feeding the pigeons, drooling down his 3 day old stubble and mumbling to himself.

Someone needs to splice together all the times Trump complimented himself on this issue, and how many times he has expressed sorrow or empathy for the victims. I bet the amount of time congratulating himself is 20x the expressions of sorrow.
