At least part of the standstill over Democrats’ $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill is still rooted in Sen. Kyrsten Sinema’s (D-AZ) refusal to up taxes on corporations and wealthy Americans, according to Insider.

Don’t feel bad. I’ve dated women like her. If you knew how it was going to go you wouldn’t have done it, but you didn’t know.
I see no reason to believe her spokesperson is telling the truth.
I will say that for me Sen. Manchin is much easier to understand.

So … she’ll be proud of herself for derailing Biden’s agenda? Just wallowing in vague power? She’ll be hounded by this for years.
Sinema has no fixed beliefs, other than a belief in Kyrsten Sinema. She’s nothing more than an amoral transactionist admiring herself in the mirror.
That sort of dishonesty still is hard for me to compute. I see it and get it after a fashion but it makes no sense to me. My kind of honesty would never work in politics. My values aren’t for sale.
Sinema is currently attending fundraisers for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) in Europe.

Sinema has reportedly told House Democrats this week that she won’t vote for the reconciliation bill until the bipartisan infrastructure bill she helped craft passes first.
Fuck her: roll the two bills into one and move to pass that legislation.
It was a plan B, might as well make it plan A.
