Seriously - the helicopter flight commander’s name is “Wingblade”? :helicopter:

The Trump Show has jumped the shark, please cancel the remaining episodes of this season and never let them out of the vault…

You couldn’t make this up. Well, you could, but no one would believe you.

He apparently like to play Wagner when attacking the protesters - apparently it “scares the hell out of the geeks…”

All joking aside, that maneuver was really dangerous, both due to the flying debris caused by the downwash and the possibility of the helicopter hitting something in the dark and crashing. It’s also disturbing that the pilot flew that way, orders or not. It was a complete failure all around, and it’s worrying that any members of the military would act that way towards citizens.

There are so many things wrong in the way the past four years have gone, and the attitudes exposed in people, that this is minor in comparison. I don’t know how we fix the system so stuff like this doesn’t happen anymore, but that has to be the goal.

:joy: I know, seriously… is that even a name? Or did the guy have it legally changed to that?

If Mario Puzo was trying to write “The Godfather” today, I think he would just switch to writing a political thriller based on the Trump administration. The corruption contained in the novel would be much more believable.

It’s a real surrname, looks like they’re mostly in the middle (Kansas, Missouri, etc):

“Wingblade”? LOL! Sounds like a name that belongs in “Dr. Strangelove”, like Colonel “Bat” Guano:

My first thought was this guy is a legacy of a bad Stan Lee comic. “Commander Walt Wingblade” - With sunglasses, an eye patch and a scar on one cheek.

And yeah, he flies for “Hydra”.

Bust them both. General court-martial is about right…

Postscript to my last post.

Trump’s re-election has more to do with the Tribe he leads and whether it can continue its dominance in American life than anything else.

In that sense, for the Trump Tribe, there are no ads necessary that are any better that the ones the imaginations of their members create all on their own.

I saw an wonderful presentation by Morgan Freeman, dealing with what we have to do to vote Trump out…all while knowing that, for the Trump Tribe, each member can, in his own collection of grievances and revenge-seeking, create Pulitzer-level narrations of self-persuasion on demand.
