Users aren’t the only ones worried about Instagram’s new terms of service and privacy policy. Congressman Edward Markey (D-Mass.) on Tuesday issued a statement saying he would be “closely monitor[ing] the situation.” Markey is the co-chairman of the Bi-partisan Congressional Privacy Caucus and has previously used his authority to get information on user practices from cell phone companies and Facebook, Instagram’s parent company.
