likely crushed to death during the unrest at the US Capital yesterday
There were several very scary minutes in the video taken by the person who was a newly elected member of the WV state legislature. The crowd was bunching up at a door that wasn’t yet breached. People were getting concerned and some were trying to get folks behind them to ease the pressure. If a few people had panicked, I believe that several people would have died.

You know how I don’t like Trump much? I keep saying I’m on the fence compared to my relatively apolitical sister. She can’t talk about him without snarling like an animal. Of course we know from my anecdotes she’s about half-feral. But all those educated suburban women they talk about who don’t like him, OMG up close it’s a fearful sight.

What keeps getting forgotten though is that there are plenty of people like Evans’ grandmother who is not a suburban woman from the looks of the thing, who hate him just as much.
People whom one would think would be Trumpers because of where they live or some other factor and boom! you find out no, they fucking hate him.
Whereas all those poor poor forgotten white CEOs and Marketing Execs and lawyers who got identified yesterday…

Not sure what you are saying, but if the relative of the woman’s defense is “the devil made her do it,” I am not sure where that will go. She willingly joined the putsch attempt and assumed the risks of that endeavor. She charged ahead, Trump incited her (and the others), even suggesting he was going to go with them. Coward that he is, he didn’t, returned to the WH to view on TV, and put all of the risk on them. Typical for Fat Nixon, i.e. transfer the risk to others, reap the “reward.” If anything, one should maybe feel sorry for her for her delusions and stupidity.
