The Trump whisperers will all come out today and tell us that he just meant this or he just meant that - listening to the tape several times, I would say his dementia is breaking through and he is just saying exactly what he means - he wants the SCOTUS to throw out the ballots and reinstate him as “president” - knowing that the term president will be incorrect at that point.

Repubs also need to be pressed on his desire to throw out ballots. Trump’s assertion was connected to invalidating ballots for no particular reason. Republicans used to be fond of mail-in voting.

I’m really sick of the two sets of rules for the past 20 years. The Democrats have to win blow outs for the election to count but the Republicans can win by one vote. This is all BS and this must change going forward. I’m very concerned about “Brooks Brothers” (2000 election in Miami) style riots in November. Trump will send his goons to the board of elections places in the swing states. We must be prepared for this.

Why are we giving GOPers undue credit? All they mean is that when Trumps judges hand him the election, they are going to go hog wild claiming that the Dems won’t allow a peaceful result to the election, that they can’t accept a legitimate loss.

Since these GOP elected officials have shown that there can be no trust in what they say (e.g., SCOTUS nominee weeks before an election), there is no reason to trust what they say about accepting an election outcome. The machinery is already in place to call the results into question. Do not for one second believe anything these people are saying. The stakes are too high. Believe not in what they say they will do, look at all they have already done in their obeisance to the worst person to ever occupy the Oval Office.

None of the GOP senators said anything useful. They didn’t call out Trump’s outrageous attack on our elections. They are in on Trump’s election theft scheme.
