A major newspaper in North Carolina excoriated former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows in an editorial published Wednesday, calling the former Trump official an “embarrassment” for both the GOP and the state that he represented in Congress.
The teabagger has always been embarrassment, NC seems to have a high threshold for shame.
Trump Sycophant is an endorsement with our NC Republicans. I know that the Durham branch recently had a purge and has only become more seditious than it was under Trump.

When the Raleigh News & Observer has to pipe up about poopful Meadows and the soulless sociopath Cawthorn, you know even the North Carolina ruling elites are getting uncomfortable.

It’s a McClatchy-owned paper, so this isn’t surprising, but it is welcomed.
Too much of the “well-respected media” (I’m glaring at YOU NYTimes) has been nearly absent, concerning the select committee’s work, even though it is among the most important work any congressional committee has ever done in this country.

That is astounding but I’m not shocked. Omicron is a real thing. It’s spreading all over. When it hits the unvaxed and is not treated, new variants form. This is going to be a veritable sh*t storm. Even here in Ontario where we are way ahead in double vaccinations and now 50 plus can get boosters, the government is clamouring to get needles into arms and shut down travel etc. to get ahead of the O.

I saw a clip on the TV earlier in which Jim Jordon was railing against the outing of the texts and I noticed MTG was sitting behind him with a look of absolute fear on her face. She’s terrified about the texts.

I checked on the NYC health department web site the other day. My Queens zip code is 103% vaccinated, a couple of months ago it was well over 85% vaccinated. I guess they are including the boosters.
