On the heels of an NBC/Wall Street Journal poll suggesting an increase in support for gays and lesbians serving openly in the military, a new Quinnipiac poll finds 58% of respondents favoring a repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.”The latest survey shows 34% of respondents opposed to repealing the law that prohibits gay men and women from serving openly in the military. And for the first time, the survey finds military families supporting a repeal: 55% of respondents with a member of their family in the military favor a repeal, while only 38% are in opposition.
