I think that complete Russian withdrawal and restitution is called for, including returning all occupied lands and even ceding some Russian land to Ukraine. It’s not like Russia is lacking in land, being the largest country on earth.

Somewhat OT, but Putin’s face is very puffy. He looks like he is having some kind of medical problem. Wonder if he is on steroids or something, which can cause aggression in some people.
One has to consider that the pair (Donnie/Vlad) have egged each other on in seeing who can be the most outrageous dictator and cause the most chaos in the world.
Hopefully the Russian people will take care of their little Napoleon. We need to do the same to our own little problem child.
I am reminded about the Blue Brigade (Brigada Azul) which were Spaniards who had survived their brutal civil war initiated by the revolt of the fascist General Francisco Franco against the democratically elected government. Those soldiers were also fascist and fought with Germany against Russia because Russia had supported the communist factions in Spain. They left their broken homeland to fight Russia rather than rebuild, because they were Fascists and Fascists are just the non-German flavor of Nazis.
We need to help Ukraine get through this first - Putin will level Ukraine and kill everyone and everything in there if he does not get his way.
It won’t be so easy for him to do this with all the arms being sent there. And they would be fully justified in using them against military targets in Russia or Belarus at this point, having been attacked from there. It’s not like he could do anything worse than he’s already done or is about to do. And if he does, that would in turn justify even more drastic responses, like bombing important Russian military and industrial assets deep within Russia that aren’t directly connected to this invasion. But hopefully it won’t come to that, especially with his mental state apparently deteriorating and nukes at the ready.
This is basically turning into brinksmanship. We have to find a way to get him to blink first.
Or he’s not sleeping well and is on stimulants. He truly is breaking Vlad.

Neither Russia nor Ukraine are members of the Treaty of Rome in which a nation agrees to submit itself to the ICC. However, it does not prevent Ukraine from appealing to the court for help. As I understand it, and it has been a bunch of years since I last looked, the US is not a signatory either. It is hard for the US to hold the high ground sometimes. That is the root of my rage about the Iraq invasion on false pretexts.
